About us

The owner with a Pomeranian

My name is Nataliya, I’m the founder of the Pomeranian spitz kennel “Kisses of fire”. The canine education I received allows me to professionally engage in my favourite business and get a lot of satisfaction from the results of my activity.

Kisses of Fire - is a young, family, monobreed kennel of Pomeranian Spitz puppies, registered in FCI under No. 407\19, Chernivtsi, Ukraine.

Our goal – is to breed diversified companion Pomeranians that don’t only have a beautiful appearance, but also have good health and a reliable temperament.

Our dogs live in constant contact with people, as full members of the family, without cages and enclosures, they participate in exhibitions and have a really happy life.

We carefully select pairs and exclusively adhere to the breed standards approved by the FCI.

Why you should get a Pomeranian Spitz?

heart.png

You will always be greeted with joy and a smile when you come home, and it doesn't matter if you have been away all day, or if you went out just for an hour.

Spitz is a very smart dog, so training or playing games with it is a pleasure. The Pomeranians, like all dogs, like to go for a walk, but if the weather is not appropriate, they will easily learn to go potty on a pee pad.

Spitz is an ideal petite pet to live in an apartment. A Pomeranian will not cause you any inconvenience at all.

The Pomeranian is the best companion dog. It easily finds a common language with all family members and always wins the love of each family member.
If you already have a Spitz, then you will always and forever be haunted by the thought that you need another one :).

Our puppies

Pomeranian Spitz puppy

Our puppies are raised at home, with boundless love and care. We put our hearts and souls into raising each of them, therefore we select new families for them very carefully and wisely.

The babies can move into a new home only after full vaccination and quarantine, i.e. no earlier than 3.5 months. All puppies, without exception, have issued documents in accordance with the requirements of the FCI.

When you buy a puppy from our home, you can always count on our support and advice in raising a beautiful and healthy family member.

Professional breeding with love.

Our principles in choosing future owners

I want to talk about my principles in choosing future owners:

These should be people, who understand from whom and for what they are getting a puppy.

It is important to me that the puppy is loved, and kissed in all possible places, and I should also be sure that it would be very happy living with you.

I have to look into your eyes and see the desire to have "this one".

I will not sell a puppy to those who want a Boo cut!

I do not cooperate with intermediaries.

I want the baby to be happy, and I want you to show me your gratitude for having it, as do those who already have our babies at home.

  • HOW OFTEN SHOULD A SPITZ BE COMBED?
Spitz is a very fluffy dog, so its coat requires constant care and regular combing. It is better to brush a puppy daily, and when your pet's fur changes to an adult type of fur, combing once a week is enough. This will ensure a good appearance and health of the coat. For combing, you need to buy a slicker brush and a metal comb, before combing you must moisten the coat with a special spray to make the process easier.
  • DO YOU NEED TO TAKE A SPITZ FOR A WALK?
Despite for its small size, the spitz is a very active dog that likes to run around, play and have fun. Pom also adores walks with its family.
  • HOW OFTEN DO YOU NEED TO BATH A SPITZ AND HOW TO DO IT PROPERLY?
I recommend bathing once a month, but it depends on the condition of the coat. For washing the coat you need to use special shampoos and conditioner. It is necessary to comb your pet thoroughly before bathing, and you definitely have to dry the fur with a hair dryer after water procedures.
  • CAN A POMERANIAN’S COAT BE CUT SHORT?
I am extremely against a short haircut like Boo cut. Firstly, wool protects a Pomeranian from both cold and heat. Secondly, the beauty of the spitz is in its thick and elegant coat. It is also important to know that after a short haircut like Boo cut, the hair may never grow back.
  • WHAT DOCUMENTS SHOULD A PUPPY HAVE?
When buying a puppy, you are required to issue a veterinary passport with notes on vaccinations and a puppy card issued by the FCI branch, which you can later exchange for a pedigree. A pedigree is a document confirming the origin of a dog.
  • HOW OLD A PUPPY SHOULD BE WHEN YOU GET IT?
Puppies can move into their new home no earlier than 3-3.5 months. After all vaccinations and quarantine only.
  • IS IT A BEAR OR A FOX?
It is a dog, and how it will look when it grows up depends on the type of coat its parents had, the mother in particular.
  • WHAT TO FEED A PUPPY?
You need to feed the puppy the same way its breeder fed it. If the the exact same food is impossible for you to get or you want to feed it something else, then you can try a special homemade food diet. But it’s a really serious, complicated process and if you want your puppy to be healthy, you need to strictly follow all the steps of the preparation of the food, do everything gradually and competently!
  • WHAT DO I DO IF THE PUPPY'S BABY TEETH DON’T FALL OUT AND GROW IN TWO ROWS?
If the bite is right and hasn’t shifted, then you have to wait until the molars come out by 2/3. Only then the baby teeth can be removed. If the teeth remain firmly attached, they have to be removed by a competent doctor.
  • HOW TO TEACH A PUPPY TO GO POTTY ON A PEE PAD?
It depends on the age of your puppy, on your persistence, the commands, the praise, the love and, of course, consistency! Each puppy is different in its "potty" affairs, like children are. Someone holds it in at the age of 2, and someone at the age of 4 is still peeing in diapers!
  • THE PUPPY IS GNAWING EVERYTHING. WHAT SHALL I DO?
Accommodate everything in a way so all the things are out of your pup's reach! It is better to enclose the wallpaper if you have one (or you can simply limit your puppy’s reach to them). Try special anti-gnaw sprays on things that cannot be taken or moved away, such as furniture. Lay out an enclosure while you are away. The puppy should also be completely under your control when you are at home.
